Excitement spread during the past year with word that Benny Hinn would be returning to the Democratic Republic of the Congo and would be visiting Uganda and South Africa for the first time. Powerful reports from the crusade services there indicate a time of powerful preaching, heartfelt salvations, and widespread miracles!

Over 160,000 Attend First-Ever Congo Crusade
Long hours of hard work went into the meetings as staff members and volunteers joined together to prepare the grounds for the first Miracle Crusade held by Benny Hinn Ministries in that vast country.

Yet just days away from the crusade, a huge challenge loomed! Due to the much-larger-than-expected crowds and unanticipated last-minute production and preparation expenses for the larger attendance, Pastor Benny Hinn sent an urgent call around the world for sacrificial seed-gifts and prayer.

Partners and ministry friends responded in an amazing way, and the decision was made to proceed.

As a result, Kinshasa’s Martyrs Stadium was filled, and each service featured power-packed altar calls. After straightforward Gospel messages about the blood of Jesus Christ, Pastor Benny Hinn invited people to receive “the greatest miracle of all—salvation.” Each time, the response was utterly overwhelming as multitudes of people streamed forward, many weeping openly, to receive Jesus Christ as Savior.

In each service, Pastor Hinn preached biblical accounts of healing to an expectant audience. A powerful healing anointing filled the Martyrs Stadium, and as Pastor Benny invited those who had been healed to come to the platform to testify about what had happened, a huge number of people pressed forward to testify of healings, including these:

• An 11-year-old boy had a small, underdeveloped heart that had prevented him from most physical activities. On the stage he started to run back and forth as his mother watched in amazement. She kept saying, “He couldn’t do this before.” The boy told his mother that he felt strong and he continued to run.
  
• A distinguished-looking businessman had suffered a stroke ten years before, with the greatest damage to his left side. Not only was he healed during the service, but he ran back and forth on stage with a completely normal gait.
  
• A lady told of going through surgery for a large tumor in her right breast, but it had returned over the past three years. It was quite pronounced, and she endured great pain from the growth. During the service, as the woman praised God, she suddenly noticed that the tumor was gone. By the time she came to the platform to testify what God had done, the pain gone as well!

So many miracles occurred that it was impossible for everyone to come to the platform to testify. The audience roared again and again in celebration at seeing the stream of miracles in both services!

Powerful Ministry in Uganda and South Africa
A total of over 20,000 people came from throughout Africa to the Miracle Centre Cathedral in Kampala, the largest city and capital of Uganda. Each of the June 5–6 Fire Conference sessions at the Miracle Centre Cathedral featured dynamic praise and worship by the host church’s talented choir and praise team.

From the beginning, God’s life-changing and miracle-working power touched the hearts of people throughout the massive auditorium as Pastor Benny Hinn taught on the three dimensions of the Holy Spirit: salvation, ministry, and signs and wonders!

Judging from the enthusiastic response and spiritual intensity in Uganda and South Africa (a total of over 16,000 attended in Durban and East London services), multitudes throughout Africa are increasingly hungry for the life-saving and miracle-working message of Jesus Christ.

I have just experienced the greatest two weeks I have ever known. In Uganda the glory of God was so intense that the crowds were crying out with such a force like I have never seen. In South Africa—both in Durban and East London—the power of God descended with such power that the preachers were all on their knees praising God for what happened there. And what happened in the Congo with our first-ever crusade there was truly historic! We literally saw a New Testament outpouring like we read about in Acts.

I want to thank you personally for your prayers and seed-gifts that helped make the services in Africa possible. I pray that our Lord Jesus will bless you over and over, just as your financial seed has blessed us over and over There were many challenges and a major first. But we can rejoice in the fact that a total of a quarter-million men, women, and children attended those services, and many of them came to the Lord Jesus Christ in response to altar calls. There were many testimonies of salvation, miracles, and deliverance!
