Mighty Move of God Highlights Hawaii Miracle Crusade

Hawaii boasts a cultural fusion where east meets west while remaining rooted in island values and traditions. On January 18–19, 2008, in the midst of this stunningly beautiful paradise at Honolulu’s Neal S. Blaisdell Center, the Benny Hinn Holy Spirit Miracle Crusade brought together people from all cultures, hungry for the preaching of the Gospel and power of the Holy Spirit. What happened continues to impact the islands!

The Crusade Begins Dramatically
Jesse Dixon ministered dynamically in song with the magnificent choir, singing a number of classic hymns of the church as well as other powerful songs of praise.

Throughout each service Pastor Benny shared a number of scriptures containing powerful promises of healing. As he preached his faith-inspiring message on how Jesus healed all, he shared several scriptures from the Gospels where Jesus healed all who were sick. Pastor Hinn reflected on Kathryn Kuhlman’s prophetic words more than 30 years ago, stating that, just as Jesus had healed all, a day would come when the body of Christ will see that happen again.

Mighty Miracles Sweep Through the Center
Throughout each of the services, Pastor Benny challenged those in need of a miracle to trust God for their miracles. People came forward in multitudes to share testimonies:

1. A woman was healed of lyme disease. She wept because all her symptoms had vanished and she was rejoicing at what God had done for her.
   
   
2. A married couple came to the platform to testify of God’s healing touch. The husband was scheduled for a kidney transplant, but all the pain and problems associated with his condition disappeared. He and his wife wept tears of joy as they rejoiced at God’s healing touch, sharing how they knew that God had touched him.
   
   
3. Another young man came to testify that he, too, had been slated for a kidney transplant but knew that God had touched him and that he no longer was in need of the transplant. All the pain, discomfort, and associated conditions vanished as God’s healing touch brought health and healing to the young man’s body.
   
   
4. A young mother wept as she told Pastor Benny what had happened to her. She had treated for breast cancer and had been in tremendous pain, suffering in all her joints. When Pastor Benny asked her how she knew she was healed, she said, “I don’t have any pain anymore. I had such pain in all my joints. The pain is all gone and I feel strength.” As she moved from side to side, she wept and said, “My kids are going to be so happy. They won’t know what to say!”
   
   
5. Extraordinary numbers of healings from various forms of arthritis were testified of.
   
   
6. A lady who had suffered with tumors in the throat had been unable to talk with almost no voice and had not been able to move her head. Surgery then left her without a voice. During the crusade she was able to talk and her pain left.
   
   
7. A man gave his life to the Lord when Pastor Benny gave the altar call and then was healed of stomach cancer. He had suffered with a great deal of pain from the stomach cancer but was suddenly able to bend over without pain and move in ways he had not been able to previously. In one evening he experienced two incredible miracles: the greatest miracle of salvation as well as physical healing from stomach cancer.
   
   
8. A lady suffering with terrible knee pain due to arthritis became excited when God touched her. She came forward with her husband to testify that she could bend her knees with an excellent range of motion. From a standing position she bent down, moved to a crouching position, and then stood erect again—something she had not been able to do.
   
   
9. A girl appearing to be in her early 20s came forward with her mother to testify of her healing from chronic fatigue syndrome. All her weakness was gone and she looked strong and vibrant.
   

The Greatest Miracle of All
After each presentation of the Gospel message, Pastor Benny gave the invitation for salvation, and hundreds responded from all over the auditorium. People of all ages and from varied walks of life came forward to surrender to Jesus Christ. Many wept as they repeated the prayer for salvation, phrase by phrase, as Pastor Benny led them in the prayer.

One young man caught Pastor Benny’s attention, and after the prayer was finished, Pastor Benny addressed the young man, saying, “I noticed your tears as you prayed. You know, if you had been the only person, Jesus would have died for your sins!” The young man continued to weep tears of joy because the greatest miracle had just taken place in his life.

The Outpouring Continues
At the close of the Saturday morning service, Pastor Benny called all the pastors forward and laid hands on them, two by two, and ministered to them, asking God to anoint them with power and authority.

Then, before the final service closed, Pastor Benny called all the youth forward and prayed over them. Youth of all ages, from elementary age to young adults responded. Their faces reflected the intense spiritual hunger in their hearts, and the tears that flowed freely down their faces were an outward sign of the inward work and their brokenness before the Lord. Pastor Benny admonished all the pastors in the building to look at those youthful faces and remember them. He pointed out the intense spiritual hunger depicted there, and said, “Don’t ever forget these faces. These young people want more of God. They’re hungry for the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Pastors, we must invest in our young people. We must never forget our youth!”

A Challenge to Pray
Native islanders say, “There’s no place on earth like Hawaii.” The fresh, floral air energizes. The warm, tranquil waters refresh. The breathtaking, natural beauty renews. This is certainly true of Oahu, third-largest island. It is an island paradise of activities that range from surfing at legendary Waikiki to hiking through the rich rainforests of Waimea Valley, honoring heroes at the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor, or watching the brilliant pastels of dusk fade on Sunset Beach.

With these iconic landmarks as a background, Honolulu’s Neal S. Blaisdell Center was the picture-perfect site for this amazing crusade.
