“Down Under” Crusade and Conference Attendees Experience Powerful Anointing

God is moving mightily in Australia, the world’s smallest continent and sixth-largest country. Most of the nation’s 20-million people live along the eastern and southeastern coasts. Brisbane, the capital, is the third largest city in Australia and the most populous city of the state of Queensland.

Following a hugely successful February 2006 Benny Hinn Ministries Miracle Crusade in the world-famous Sydney Superdome, a groundswell of interest began spreading for a Pastor Benny to return to the region on February 15-16, 2008.

Near the state’s beautiful Sunshine and Gold Coasts, the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Queensland’s most versatile indoor venue, was selected for the much-anticipated crusade.

Mighty Miracles

An enthusiastic audience from throughout Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Rim greeted Pastor Benny Hinn to Brisbane, and he opened the crusade with a powerful, faith-filled message that encouraged everyone in attendance to believe for miracles. Pastor Benny reminded the audience of the many times in Scripture when all were healed, declaring that the promise of healing belonged to them as well according to Exodus 15:26, which states, “I AM the Lord that healeth thee.”

As Pastor Benny began to bring his message to a close, a powerful anointing for miracles filled the atmosphere in the arena. He began to call out many words of knowledge regarding individuals who were being healed, including these powerful testimonies:

• A young woman who had served as a police officer in East Timor came forward to share her amazing story of her healing from near paralysis after being wounded in a civil uprising. While pointing toward her abdomen, she kept saying, “I was wounded! I was wounded!” As her story began to unfold, the audience learned that she and her husband were serving as police officers during a civil uprising in East Timor. During the conflict, she watched as eleven of her fellow officers and friends, including her husband, were lined up, gunned down by a firing squad, and killed. She had been wounded multiple times with at least one bullet coming very near her spine. She showed the area on her abdomen where the bullets had exited. She wept tears of joy as she walked back and forth slowly with Pastor Benny. She had been unable to stand and walk on her own, but as the power of God touched her body during the miracle crusade, her legs were strengthened and she was able to walk.
  
  
• There were many, many miracles of healing from various forms of arthritis.
  
  
• Many came forward to tell of tumors disappearing and cancerous growths vanishing.
  
  
• Moments after Pastor Benny had spoken a word of knowledge regarding a woman with a frozen shoulder being healed, the woman came forward to testify of her miracle. Beaming with joy and smiling from ear to ear, the woman easily moved her arm around and around in a circular motion. The smile on her face reflected the joy in her heart at what God had done for her. “I couldn’t do this before! I couldn’t do this!” she exclaimed.
  
  
• A woman with a severe back injury, which caused her great pain, was forced to lay on a mattress during the service to help ease the horrible discomfort. As God’s healing power touched her and brought healing to her back, she was able to walk and bend up and down. She shared her story with Pastor Benny, and he said, “Bend over and let me test your back.” As the woman bent down, Pastor Benny lifted both arms overhead and struck the woman’s lower back where she had indicated all the pain has been. As he struck the area a second time, she said, “No pain! There’s no pain!”
  
  
• Many wheelchairs were emptied as people with various diseases and conditions were healed by God’s power.
  
  
• A gentleman who had used crutches to aid him in walking came forward to testify of God’s healing touch. As he walked back and forth on the platform, Pastor Benny grabbed the crutches from the gentleman and hurled them toward the edge of the stage, declaring, “You won’t need these anymore!”
  
  
• A mother and her pre-teen daughter came forward afterward to testify of God’s healing touch on the girl. She had suffered with juvenile diabetes. During that first service, the girl had felt God’s healing touch. Following the service they had performed the standard blood test to analyze the blood sugar. Each time they tested the little girl’s blood during the following day, the blood sugar level became more normal. The blood sugar level stabilized at a normal level and the little girl had not required insulin prior to the service.
  

The magnitude of miracles and the anointing of the Holy Spirit filled the Brisbane Entertainment Center for each of the services of this historic crusade.

“What a wonderful crusade,” Pastor Benny reported. “God is doing such a mighty work here in Australia. It has been some time since we have held a crusade in this beautiful country, and people came hungry and open to the preaching of the Gospel. NEW ZEALAND IMPARTATION AND ANOINTING CONFERENCE

On February 18-19, Christchurch Town Hall for the Performing Arts was the site for a powerful conference as Pastor Benny taught principles for ministry in this historic setting.

New Zealand is noted for its geographic isolation, being separated from Australia to the northwest by the Tasman Sea, approximately 2,000 kilometers (1,250 miles) across. Its closest neighbors to the north are New Caledonia, Fiji, and Tonga. It is located in the southwestern Pacific Ocean and is comprised of two large islands (the North Island and the South Island) and numerous smaller islands.

It is also a place of great spiritual hunger as more and more people from all cultures and ages realize their need for answers in a smaller, more dangerous world. That hunger is growing throughout the region, which placed an even greater emphasis on the crusade. People from throughout the region and from all backgrounds arrived in Christchurch with great expectancy. It was a mighty conference!

Pastor Benny taught on the topic of faith for the first time in any conference. In three sessions, he examined the topic from these perspectives from scripture:

1.  The gift of faith

2.  The fruit of faith

3.  The measure of faith

He provided background from the Greek on the word “faith,” then said, “The gift of faith is God’s faith. When we are commanded to ‘have faith in God’(Mk 11:22), we are actually commanded to have the faith of God, or God’s faith. The fruit of faith is produced by the presence and not the power. And the measure of faith is available to all.”

In addition to his dynamic teaching at Christchurch, Pastor Benny also prayed for the sick with many wonderful miracles happening in the service. He also ministered to pastors, praying for an impartation of the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

Pastor’s teaching was well received by the partners and friends of the ministry who attended the conference.
