Louisville, Kentucky, Hosts Fire Conference and Crusade

On Thursday and Friday, October 30–31, 2008, Louisville’s Kentucky Convention Center hosted thousands of Benny Hinn Ministries partners and friends at an anointed Fire Conference, and thousands more came Saturday night, November 1, for a Spirit-filled miracle crusade.

CONFERENCE EXCITEMENT
With inspirational worship and anointed teaching, the two-day Fire Conference proved to be a life-changing time for believers.

4 Keys to Save You
The first session focused on recognizing spiritual deception. Using verse after verse, Pastor Benny pointed to the dangers of deception, as well as four keys to save your life:

1. Protection through humility to God (1 Peter 5:5)
2. Filling your life with God’s Word (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12)
3. Cultivating the fear and awe of the Lord in your life (Psalm 34:11-14
4. Making the cross of Jesus the center of your life (1 Corinthians 2:1-5)

Friday morning’s service discussed Acts 2–5, then moved into a study of 2 Kings 6.

“When the axe head falls off,” Pastor Benny said of the 2 Kings scripture, “and you keep trying to use just the handle, all you will end up with is tired hands and bruised trees. Trying to do the job without the axe head or the anointing is fruitless. An axe without the axe head is just a stick.”

During the third session on Friday evening, Pastor Benny focused on the anointing.

“The intensity of the anointing is called the fire,” he taught. “On the Day of Pentecost, 120 flames of fire appeared as tongues of fire. That anointing belongs to everyone. The anointing is found in Christ. He is the source of the anointing. He is the anointed One. It’s the overflow of His life.”

Reflecting on his memories of services where Kathryn Kuhlman ministered, Pastor Benny said, “It was in those early days that I learned how the anointing operated.”

Pastor Benny added, “Signs and wonders are about to happen in the body of Christ and in your house and in your life! The presence stills you. The power stirs you. When the anointing comes, it energizes you. Everything is just right. Nothing is off. Everything is at one hundred percent. God gives us the anointing according to our capacity to receive.”

CRUSADE INTENSITY
Everyone seemed primed for the capstone Fire Crusade on Saturday evening. As Pastor Benny began concluding his teaching, a mighty anointing of the Holy Spirit swept through the room.

Then Pastor Benny began ministering to individuals as God gave words of knowledge. Simultaneously, an anointing for miracles descended and people all over the auditorium began to experience God’s healing touch! And as many came to testify of miracles, the anointing of the Holy Spirit intensified.

“I am so blessed to come to Louisville for this Fire Conference and Crusade,” Pastor Benny reported. “This is a beautiful area with amazing people. What a great time we had seeing longtime partners and ministry friends and meeting new friends. Praise and worship were unforgettable, and God gave me a special word to help equip each person there for spiritual warfare and anointed ministry. God is doing a mighty work in this area!”
