Powerful Anointing Marks “Down Under” Events

  
Reports from the Sydney Entertainment Centre and Auckland’s TelstraClear Pacific reveal memorable times of anointed worship, powerful teaching, mighty miracles, and hunger for God’s presence and power.

God is moving mightily in both Australia and New Zealand. Benny Hinn Ministries events during recent years held “Down Under” have revealed a continuing groundswell of excitement, and the May 15–16, 2009, Miracle Crusade in Sydney and the May 18–19 Fire Conference in Auckland proved to be power-packed.

Mighty Miracles in Australia
An enthusiastic audience from throughout Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Rim greeted Pastor Benny Hinn as he opened the crusade in Sydney, Australia’s Entertainment Centre.

Attendees thrilled to music by the crusade choir and dynamic baritone soloist Jeffrey Wells.

Friday and Saturday services featured powerful messages about salvation through Jesus Christ, citing scripture after scripture. Each invitation brought incredible responses as people streamed to the altar from throughout the arena, jamming the front and every aisle as people prayed to receive the greatest miracle of salvation.

Faith-filled messages followed as Pastor Benny encouraged everyone to believe for miracles. He reminded the audience of the many times from Scripture when all were healed, declaring that the promise belonged to them as well: “I am the Lord that healeth thee” (Exodus 15:26). As a result, an anointing for miracles swept through the arena. He began to call out many words of knowledge regarding individuals who were being healed from cancer, deafness, back problems, deliverance, and crippling injuries.

The magnitude of miracles and the anointing of the Holy Spirit filled the Sydney Entertainment Center for each of the services of this historic crusade.

New Zealand Conference Miracles and Teaching
On May 18–19, the TelstraClear Pacific Events Centre in Auckland was the site for a memorable conference as Pastor Benny taught anointed principles for ministry in this historic setting.

New Zealand is a place of great spiritual hunger as more and more people from all cultures and ages realize their need for answers in a smaller, more dangerous world. That hunger is growing throughout the region, which placed an even greater emphasis on the Fire Conference, and people from throughout the region and from all backgrounds arrived in Auckland with great expectancy.

As the first session of the conference began, miracles began to occur as a healing anointing descended.

A woman brought her grandson’s girlfriend, who had been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor, to the service. The young lady hadn’t been in a service of this type before. As the healing anointing descended, the young woman felt a warmth on her head and all of the pain began to leave. The two ladies came forward to the platform to testify about what had happened to the young woman. Though at a loss for words, the young lady attempted to tell Pastor Benny what had happened to her.

“If I came to Auckland just for this miracle,” Pastor Benny exclaimed, “it was worth it!”

The young woman returned the following evening to testify of her miracle, and her countenance was completely changed from the previous evening.

During the Monday and Tuesday Fire Conference, Pastor Benny taught three sessions on the blood and God’s covenants with man.

He pointed to Genesis 6:21 and six foundational truths:

1. God requires the shedding of blood for sin.
2. The sinner must be covered with the blood.
3. God provides the sacrifice.
4. God covers the sinner.
5. The innocent dies for the guilty.
6. God brings judgment on the sacrifice.

He also taught from Job 1:5 about the five areas protected by the blood:

1. The blood protected Job.
2. The blood protected his house, his family.
3. The blood protected his possessions.
4. The blood protected Job’s endeavors.
5. The blood protected his influence in the land.

As the second evening session began, a healing anointing descended again in the service. As Pastor Benny turned around to greet those seated behind him, his attention was directed toward a woman and went down the steps to greet her. With the help of her daughter, he learned that the woman suffered from gout and could not walk. Pastor Benny laid hands on her and she immediately began walking without the aid of her walking stick!

He then invited the woman and her daughter to the platform. As the woman came up the steps, she continued to walk around the platform, smiling, shouting, and jumping. She was so elated at her miracle that she just kept walking back and forth across the platform.

As Pastor Benny was about to direct them back to their seats, he noticed that the daughter had her arm in a sling. When he inquired about her condition, she said she had cancer in her arm and she could not move it. Pastor Benny laid hands on her and prayed a prayer of faith for her healing. Then he told the woman to remove the sling. As she did, the expression on her face told the story. She was speechless, and her face beamed with excitement and awe as she began to move her arm up and down, increasing the range of motion each time she moved it. She said all the pain was gone! She had not been able to move her arm at all for some time. She wept tears of joy as she exercised her arm up and down.

Pastor Benny also prayed for the sick there with many wonderful miracles happening in the service.

A Challenge for the Future
“We had a wonderful Miracle Crusade in Sydney and Fire Conference in Auckland,” Pastor Benny reported. “God is doing such a mighty work throughout that region. There was such a mighty anointing. People came hungry. I ask my partners around the world to continue to pray for the precious people there—that God will continue to touch this generation for His glory!”
